The Art of Preservation
We believe in the soul of Bali over the speed of the world
Why We Do This
We are young Balinese who care deeply about our island's art and traditions - traditions that are slowly disappearing. Today, many young Balinese choose to work in hotels or other industries that offer more stable income. We understand this choice.
But if traditional craftsmanship is left behind for even one generation, wood carving, sculpture, mirrors, linen, and many other forms of Balinese art may disappear forever.
Balithings exists because we decided to take action - to support our artisans, preserve our culture, and bring authentic Balinese craftsmanship to the world.
Direct from Artisan to You
We believe that preserving culture starts with respecting the people who create it. At Balithings, we work directly with local artisans and craftsmen, ensuring they receive fair and dignified compensation for their skills and time.
In return, we are able to offer carefully made pieces that reflect the true quality, heritage, and soul of Balinese art.
What We Stand For
These principles guide every decision we make and every relationship we build.
Uncompromising Quality
We don't ship tourist grade. Every piece undergoes rigorous quality inspection before leaving our warehouse.
Fair Compensation
We work directly with local artisans without intermediaries, ensuring fair and dignified compensation for their skills and time.
Global Logistics
LCL to FCL, all documentation handled. We manage export permits, customs clearance, and worldwide shipping.
Cultural Preservation
We support artisans who preserve traditional techniques, keeping centuries-old craftsmanship alive for future generations.
